CHALLENGE
International Holding Company seeking planning consultation and assistance for their 3-day summit style meeting for 150 international attendees. The goal of the meeting was to build camaraderie and cohesiveness amongst the various business owners who are now under one common umbrella.
METHOD
Bucom collaborated with the client to ensure that all visions and goals were met. We sourced and secured a new and strategically located luxury resort hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona. Meetings and activities were created to be interactive, engaging and to reinforce organizational priorities. A compelling theme was adopted onto all presentation templates and used throughout the meetings. A fun and experiential dinner event was held at the Desert Botanical Garden, a beautiful 55-acre venue that is home to thousands of species of cactus, trees, and flowers from all around the world. The group was challenged to participate in a problem-solving activity throughout the gardens, with each team racing against the clock and each other in order to be successful. A creative themed dinner followed in this impressive and aesthetically beautiful setting.
RESULTS
The feedback was extremely positive with an overall 4.81 (on a scale from 1-5) rating from attendees. The program was successful for “greatly enhancing the relationships across the Leadership team”, creating “great team spirit and enthusiasm–excellent structure–increasing clarity on strategic priorities and goals”, and “networking and meetings increased trust and understanding priorities.”
